Your girl is lovely - what a super, alert expression. You clearly have loads of fun together.
I am interested in the bitless approach too and would love to ride a horse that has been schooled that way. Maybe you could tell us more about it?
What part of the country are you from? You could join one of the Area Groups.

Hello - Blossom is lovely and the photo of you both is great. I am interested in the bitless approach as my dales has a very small mouth and actually the less severe the bit he has, the lighter he becomes in the hand.

Hi glad you like my girl and yes I do have loads of fun with her. I ride her in a Dr Cooks and sometimes a scawbrig which is even milder. We have always done lots of natural horsemanship and she did everything but put her own saddle on when the time came to ride her. To help take the leap of faith of going bitless put it under a bridle and use separate reins to begin with. I l come from cheshire area but can Fells join in area groups..
