Glad to hear Quest is much better. I sure agree with everyone about the pergolide. Topaz had a couple of rough years getting the dosage just right, but (touch wood) the past three years she's been lami free & feeling very good. We're talking feeling good enough to run like a silly goose through the pasture when the mood takes her and be as mischevious as a little pony that feels good. I hope it will work as well for Quest and allow him a good quality of life. I don't know if you have compounding pharmacies there but here I am able to get the pergolide in a flavored powder (peppermint, yum) from a compounding pharmacy for much less than the tablets & still have good results. My vet found the pharmacy & it's a considerable savings.

Yes, I'm really pleased he is on Pergolide at last. Hi Nancy - good to see you back on line. That's interesting about the costs from different places. I haven't had my first bill yet but the vet said prices have come down. Vets over here can now write out prescriptions so you can obtain the mdication from "human" pharmacists and I've heard ASDA (one of our big supermarkets) sells Pergolide far cheaper than the vets. however, a downside is that vets can now charge for the prescription. Once I have the dose sorted I'll check out where I can get the best deal as hopefully Quest will be on these tablets for life.

Thats great about Quests results. Pergulide supposed to be brilliant according to my vet, we had plenty of time to discuss such issues while Curly was so ill.... Good luck
