Oh I'm sorry to hear Topaz is not so good. It is such a worry, isn't it? Quest was a bit better today on the hardcore but I've got my fingers crossed for Tuesday when the trimmer comes. I hope the news is good for both Quest and Topaz.

My trimmer came to Quest this morning and I was relieved to hear that the bruising he suffered was just that and nothing to do with laminitis. Or rather, it was the consequence of his flatish, thin laminitic soles which predispose him to bruising particulalry because the hard frost followed a very warm, wet period.
Anyway, he is fine now and jane is confident Quest's feet will come normal again with trimming. In fact she was very pleased with how well he kept his foot shape since the last trim. So now I know, I will keep him in if we get another really hard frost but otherwise he can live out 24/7. Phew!
