I think Tim looks squat and chunky compared to everyone else's babies! Poor little chap! Lucy   You are not allowed to call Tim squat (chunky is acceptable, but not squat). Anyway, he isn't squat and I don't think he's different to anyone elses baby boys at that age. In my experience, colt foals seem to put on bulk before height and 6-9 months is the most solid period! Not helped by all the winter fugg-fur either. Before you know it, he'll be all gangly and gawky and looking like he's made up of several differents parts, some of them not even equine  Sammy is a big lad, and Tim had longish cannon bones at birth, so my bet is for at least 14hands, probably more! Here's the most recent photo I have of Tim's little pen-pal Jacq. They are only one week apart in age. Jacq also looks like he's doing chunky and "vertically challenged" (remember the squat word is banned), but underneath all the fur there is a tubular body and some fairly elegant legs  Jacq, not Tim. See - virtually no difference! Anyone else got 7 month old baby boy photos to make Lucy feel better? P.S. If you don't like him anymore, you could just give him to me |

What do you call a group of 7 month old colts...  THe front two are about the 7/8 month mark in this picture, they can't be much older than that i don't think. |

Min has the most amazing neck on her!! Thanks for the lovely baby pics everyone, perhaps squat was a little unfair! LOL! Helen, why would you want another boy (even if his an international celebrity of some reknown and far too cute for his own good!) when you are SUPPOSED TO BE GETTING RID OF THEM?  ?? !!!! I think Tim most resembles Max (with shorter legs!) definately bum high!! Or Anna's right hand colt, are they the fell(on)s!!?? I will try measuring tomorrow and report back after skool. |

Wow - Steve's a lucky boy. That's some toy. Martin is booking his flight What "on earth" (pun intended!) are you up to? Menage, more stables, train tracks? If you did that with our tractor you would have a squished Tim as our hydraulics creep downwards! I expect to see Tim riding in the bucket next as he's so laid back |

Squished Celt and Pants more like! LOL! My neighbour was removing and spreading my muck heap on the hayfield. It was all done when I got home (I didn't know he was coming today) but i would have asked him to come another day if I'd have known as it's made so much mess. That's his JCB loader, I couldn't even afford the tyres! LOL!
The pones were hoovering corn and cow food off the machine! Typical Dales! Mind, they weren't too fussed when it started up either! Only Isaac and Choc were keeping a respectable distance.

How sad to not know how he's doing. It scares me even more about the thought of selling babies. Why would some one sell without papers when they make such a difference in price? He's a handsome boy, I bet he's still going strong and making someone very happy!  |
