Welcoming this little one to the world Mum is Maidendale Serenade, Dad is Raygill William She's a pretty girl with an unusual crescent-shaped star and if this isn't cute, I don't know what is!

Congratulations Maggie - she's lovely. Is she Tommy's last foal? Any thoughts on tribute-names if she is?

She's one of the last generation, a sad thought. Jemma (Serenade's niece) is still to have a Tommy foal - due 2 June, but I'm not convinced she'll go that long, that will be the last one of mine. Penny's Rhythm and Jill Graham's Caroline will both foal in July I think, with Caroline's probably being the very last Tommy baby.
It would be nice to think of a commemorative name, just something more feminine and attractive than
'Cantankerous Old Git' ;D
which I'm afraid he was in his old age, I'm sure through no fault of his own, but he always passed on a superb temperament to his foals.

Rhythm is due very late in June, but looking at her I think it may be a little earlier than that! She has been bagging up for a week now, and has begun to look uncomfortable and doesn't want to trot over for her hay However, I could be wrong!

What a special little girl. That last pic is poster worthy!!! I know I would have had it hanging in my room growing up. Heck, I'd have it hanging in my room now ;D I love her unusual crescent too. Sarah's rightfully proud of her little girl

She's one of the last generation, a sad thought..... ....It would be nice to think of a commemorative name..... ....he always passed on a superb temperament to his foals. I can certainly vouch for that! We have a Raygill William daughter and she has a lovely, gentle nature. Tommy may have gone but he's certainly left a huge legacy with over 100 foals. So how about Maidendale Legacy for your little girl? Or : Maidendale Legend, Maidendale Farewell, Maidendale Sunset. Helen x

How about Maidendale Twilight? Since she's not actually the last, but one of the last crop.
