Thank you for nice comments it's appreciated Helen, I have been calling her Little Rose and Little Rosie, so goodness knows what I will end up calling her! Linda, I missed it all!!!!! Deborah hates being inside and we had been building up to her coming in to foal. Sods law I guess, cctv set up, stable ready, Deborah coming in each day for a feed and a brush without getting stressed with Delight her field mate (another fat fraud Helen) in next stable. Had Delight examined by vet a short while back and no foal!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had Delight scanned 2 weeks ago and everything okay and she was in season! Nearly ready to ovulate, up we go to see Duke. Anyway I am just so pleased Deborah did it all herself, all I did was tie up the afterbith and put iodine on the foal. I have had the others inside to foal and would prefer it that way so I can get help if they need it but Deborah didn't want that!! Let's hope Duke can get Delight in foal and she can hold it full term. Other news, Duke has covered Beau and Heather and both scanned in foal Edited again because I have had a glass of wine and forgot to say, extra happy because she is staying here and not going to be sold!!!! How good is that

That's nice that you're going to keep her - how many does that make now? Sorry that Delight wasn't in-foal, but I am sneakily relieved that I'm not the only one who has been fooled by a "fat fraud". It's a good term isn't it Hope Delight takes and holds this time. Congrats re. Beau and Heather. We have just scanned two and had them confirmed in-foal. I love seeing the blobs on the ultrasound screen - how sad am I Keep posting photos of Little Rose - I could look at foal photos all day!

Helen, that makes 11 Dales ponies now Very time consuming, poo picking all of their fields takes about 1hr.3o mins every 2 days, apart from Deborahs which is every day and doesn't take long. Congratulations on your 2 being scanned in foal, is one of them the previous fat fraud?? I had several in today for foot trimming and the star of the day was--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EXCALIBUR ;D He was turned out a few months ago with another pony ;D and he has changed from being a real naughty boy, in to a good boy again. I brushed him, I cleaned his sheath, I frontlined his feathers and not once did he try and bite me but stood rock solid still for everything. I loaded the other pony he is in with and he loaded himself into the trailer He has always been good about loading though, walks on and off so well. Anyway the other pony he is in with is also in foal, to him! Can you guess who it is??
