Area 16 Clinic in SHROPSHIRE with Tanya Bridgeman!
This clinic is now full! I will open a waiting list as we quite often have people dropping out due to unforeseen circumstances. We are running a two day clinic at Gill's (Greydales) place near Shrewsbury, on 15th and 16th May.
The cost will be £90 for the two days, based on eight participants. This will cover all instruction from Tanya. Grass livery will be free.
Non returnable deposit of £50 to be paid to secure a place by 30th March. Remaining money to be paid no later than Saturday 15th May on arrival.
It expected that most participants will keep their ponies in a grass paddock. Participants will be responsible for providing water for their pony and poo picking the paddock before leaving.
If anyone wants a stable - the costs of bedding to be arranged privately with Gill.
There will be limited accommodation at Gill's consisting of some beds, some sofa beds and some airbeds. There are B&Bs nearby which you can PM me about details for. Also camping space at Gill's!!
We will charge £5 a day per person (clinic participants and spectators) on top of this for light lunch, breakfast, (cereals and toast) hot and cold soft drinks. This is to be paid to me ON ARRIVAL.
It is expected that we will have a pub meal on one night, a take away on another and a barbecue on another. All these meals will be extra and not included in the price of the clinic.
People can arrive Friday afternoon and will be expected to help set up fencing in the paddocks for the ponies if Gill hasn't already organised this. You can leave Sunday night or Monday morning, whichever you prefer.
Please PM me for details and send non returnable deposit to me to secure a place no later than 30th March. The following deposits have been received and therefore places booked:
Row and Dan Pam and Harvey Linda and Saturn Gill and Remy Olivia and Tilly Teresa and Cherry Sue and Dancer Lucy and Ozzie

Good question Olivia and I'm not sure of the answer! My understanding is that only DPS members are insured for DPS activities. However, I'm seeing Tanya this afternoon and will ask her about her own insurance. We need to look into this further and I will get back to you asap!
Zelda, we will have our own resident photographer in Gill! Although I'm sure she will have assistants!

Lu wants to do it with Oz (both DPS members) and I wouldn't mind doing it with Bex but she isn't a dales. Think Im going to hang off backing Rory until the summer at the earliest. Bex is a difficult problem though as Im wanting her AIed for a foal next year.

Have talked to Tanya re insurance. She is fully covered so if everyone who comes has their horse insured there really shouldn't be a problem. So open to non DPS members! Gill may need you to sign a disclaimer as Val and Claire did for the original Dales Camps.

Gill says she should have enough fencing and the electric is mains so no need for energisers. There is water on tap there but you will need water buckets and will be responsible for filling them.

I'd love to come, though would need to bring Jay over each day then back home as we would have the rest of the animals to see to. Would that be too much of a pain? Plus everyone would have to promise not to laugh at the hairless Jay
