This came from my horse watch group today. There is an attached form which I can try to put on her too - it's quite long so I may have to do it on another thread.
Dear All I have been contacted by a concerned horse owner friend of mine from Bletchinley in Surrey, she was seeking advice as to what she should do with a 2-3 year old mainly white 14-2 Skewbald stallion that was dumped in the field where she keeps her horse (photo to follow). There are reports of this type of thing occurring all over the country. Please be aware that if this happens to you the police are powerless to do anything as no crime has been committed, even worse you would be committing a criminal offence if you remove it, or cause it to be removed from your preemies unless you follow the correct procedure (see attachment). May I suggest that to save lots of heartache you padlock every gate onto or into your property. If like my friend you have a stallion dumped on you it could cause great problems with the stallion mounting the mares. Phillip
