i thought i would add this becuase mums just made it for tea and it is very very yummy.
this feeds 4-6 easily.
800g of mince
1 tin of baked beans in sauce
4-6 frankfurters
a small amount of gravy around 250 ml
1-2 beef oxo cubes. (optional)
fluffy mash
cheese (enough to cover the top)
make as a normal shepards pie by cooking the mince and putting into a dish, add the beans to the mine and mix up well, add the gravy, just enough to make it a bit goeyer, then add the frankfurters sliced, mix it up again, mum then tastes it and crumbles the oxo cubes to taste, mix it all up one more, top with fluffy mash with a little bit of cheese on top, bake for 30-45 minutes, serve up and enjoy.
I was very aprehensive when i saw mum making it think she was a little bit
i have to say it is lovely.
