www.finefettlefeed.com/MOREONHAPPYTUMMY.htmJust thought I would post in horsey chat about this product...as some of you may know Connie suffers dreadfully with the runs during the winter when there is no grass....I have tried every supplement know to help but it hasn't....BUT I think I may have at last found something!! She has been on this prouct for only a few days and already her droppings are returning to normal.

Leann - how much Happy Tummy is Connie having each day? I've posted about this on the EE site in response to a member whose horse also has a dribbly bot and she's asking what the dosage is.

Ohhooerrr ..I'm ashamed to say I am not too sure Sue as Gill is feeding it to her.... I know she was going to start her off on a couple of scoops twice a day in two feeds...building up to the maximum dose and then gradually reducing it to a maintenance level....I'll have a look at the dosage tomorrow when I go down the yard Sue and get back to you. I think they could have 5 - 6 scoops a day depending on the horses size but will confirm,,

I'm so pleased this is helping Connie. Thanks for the link - sounds like a very useful product. I remember our parents giving charcoal to our dogs for this sort of problem (and to me and my brother come to that ) but never thought of using it for horses. I bet this product would have helped Quest - wish I'd known about it then.

Well had a good check at the rear end this morning and she is still doing well! Can't tell you how relieved I am to have found something at last after trying so many products before...I must have spent a fortune.

Charcoal is marvellous for drying things up a bit - I had a dog who used to seek out and eat coal, and he had liver problems so was always a bit loose.
I'm pleased it is working for Connie.

My Bio-Premium from the vet has worked for Tim and Celt. Am very tempted to get some of your stuff as a just incase though Leann.

thank heavens for that! My boy had the runs for over 1 month, we had the vet out, he had pro-biotics, sand out (he lives in a very sandy area), injections, all sorts....he is now getting back to normal but his tail and rear end have been in such a state for ages......I'm guessing from everyone's posts that this happens due to the change in grass supply / new hay...poor Marlon had a jet stream of poo coming out of his botty!
I'll keep this product in mind for next year....
thanks guys - this forum is fab....

This has been a topic on other horsey forums too, so it seems to be pretty common at the moment.
