It didn't help Harley either. Please keep us posted on Doc's progress - fingers crossed you've found your solution! (Harley is a bit stiff behind at the moment - he's not being ridden and not moving enough in the field )

It didn't help Harley either. (Harley is a bit stiff behind at the moment ) I can't actually describe very well how Doc is behind - it's like a quick "dip" momentarily. The only thing i can say = you know when your falling asleep and your head suddenly bobs, it's similar to that but obviously he's hind legs.

I double up on the dosage Sunday so we're now at the " MAGIC" day 3 on 8g of ALcar (split between 2 feeds) = hind muscles are MUCH softer (rump & hamstrings in particular), he will stand to have feet picked out better & he's not QUITE so grouchy to be brushed. He's "rafter hips" don't look so prominant either & he's walked out lovely the last couple of days, almost TOO fast at times! I've not done any schooling or trotting as didn't want to get knocked back but think I need to add in some trot. On a downside, he's attitude on the road is back, spooking & not letting traffic by so I'm thinking he's been good cuz of being in pain but now the pain is going " the Monsters back".

That's great!!!!
I know what you mean about the 'dip' - almost like they leave a leg behind?
