Haven't done anything worth writing about for a while but thought I'd give a quick update on how Jets getting on.
He has almost doubled in size (width not height) so now he's starting to look like a proper dales at last. I think he's about 14h or there abouts
I've long reined him around the farm with tack on and he's been such a sweetie, I've managed to back him myself with the assistance of my long suffering sister and now he's gone to a friend for a few weeks to be ridden away. I really didn't have the time and wanted him to learn good habits not naughty ones like spooking at purple flowers from Fatty!!!
Anyway he'll be back in a few weeks and will see what happens but I intend on turning him away for winter and starting again next spring.
So far so good and if he's back I might get him to Stokesley show for a bit more education but will have to wait and see. Although he doesn't have very much mane at the thanks to a certain TB so possibly should wait til it grows back a bit!
Hope everyone on here is well and will let you know how we get on when he's back home ;D
