Hi everyone Has anyone fed Brewers Yeast to try to improve or combat Sweet Itch I'm not convinced Banna has full blown Sweet Itch but he was incredibly itchy last summer so as I ended up with him in a fly rug which did help. I was recommended to try brewers yeast which I have been feeding him for a few weeks in powder form, much to his disgust!! I have now tried tablet form which seems to be going down with less fuss.... ;D But does anyone know how much I should be feeding... The tablets are 500mg Any thoughts? Anyone done that before??? Thanks DB x

No idea!
I have heard Bay leaves (the cooking ones) are good for sweet itch but haven't any proof of this.
Sorry not to be much help.

I've heard of brewers yeast being used for sweet itch but have no idea on quantities nor how effective it is. So not much help.
