I'm thinking of investing in a decent pair but they'd need to be cordless. Pip has a very thick coat so can anyone recommend anything please? I'm probably only going to give him a bib clip at first but he may get clipped further in the future. Thanks

Ours aren't cordless but they are very good. They are Lister Neon ones. Never had a problem with them apart from losing the tightening screw! easy to get parts etc. There might be a cordless version?

I've got Moser Avalon cordless clippers and love them. They are quiet, hardly vibrate at all and there are no fiddly adjustments to do.
I bought them 5 years ago along with 2 ceramic blades. The blades get sharpened once a year and are still going strong - they do the sheep too!
I've done full clips on Harley at his thickest with them, and Lady tolerates them too.
I think they were about £180 from Peasridge but well worth it.
