Sadly Heather was found dead in the field this morning with the herd around her. The ground was not disturbed so she had a quiet passing She had a good life as a brood mare, bred and owned by the CastleHill stud before we bought her in 2008 aged 17. she gave us a cracking boy in May 2010 and was believed in foal for next year. Really sorry alison. Nasty shock finding her like that and not an ancient pony either. I know she will be missed and I just loved her quiet humour. Thinking of you and your Dad, I know he will be upset too. Xx
