What an awful state to find him in. So pleased you have managed to find him again though...poor pony didn't deserve any of that!

Glad you found him and that he has been rescued by such caring, wonderful people! I bet he has a great relationship with them now! Rescued animals are so loyal and grateful.

So glad you have found him again. Loaning can go so badly wrong (I had to have a pony put down after it was loaned out and came back with appalling laminitis) but at least you now know he is in safe hands and can come home again.
If he is a Dales, he will be resilient and soon put some weight back on. Give him a hug from all of us and get some publicity photos out to warn others and even give them to the local press.

Oh my goodness, I've only just seen this thread  what a nightmare!!! I'm so glad that couple sincerely cared enough to treat him and that you've found your poor boy again. |
