Hi, I own Daloumie Just Josh, bay gelding. I have always wanted to find some relatives of his! his by Wolsey master Oliver out of daloumie sweet melody. Anybody who owns any ponies related to him or know anything interesting about his dam or sire, please could you get in touch as I'd like to find out more about them!

My brood mare Colmworth Hettie May is by Oliver, who is still alive and well with Lorraine. Did you buy Just Josh from her or had she already sold him on as Melody is her oldest brood mare. I am not sure if she is currently a member on here, but I think she used to me. If you want more info I suggest you contact her direct.
Oliver is a superb very dark bay-brown now, and Melody is a black. Both lovely ponies.
I hope you are having fun with Just Josh - how old is he now?

Hi again. I have just been in contact with Lorraine Wiltshire who bred him. Said to give you her phone number (07809152263) and her e-mail (daloumiedales@yahoo.co.uk). She can fill you in on his early life and has lots of photos of him. Good luck.

Hi, I remember Joshua when he was owned by the James's as a young stallion - stunning boy - I do have a photo of him somewhere from back then.
He was sold from there, gelded and broken to ride by a lady who I think lived on a narrowboat - can't remember her name at the moment, not sure how long she kept him.
Do you have any pics of him now?
We used to have Daloumie Foxy Lady.

Oh, isn't he super. Looks as though he is going really well for you.
Which part of the country do you live, cos it would be lovely to meet up and share stories about our Oliver babies! I am in Bedfordshire.

He is fantastic, super boy! we live in South Dorset which is quite away from you. He went out again this weekend and went champion WHP at Dorset Charity Show going clear in both classes( being the only clear in one of them!)

Hi I have Twywell Amber Leigh whose sire is also Wolsey Master Oliver. She is bay and looks very much like your boy. Strangely enough I also live in Dorset and have not seen any other Dales ponies around. Which part of Dorset are you from,

We will see you there. We are also in the ridden class. It is our first big ridden show so very exciting and scary. I have not done any ridden classes up until now. We are doing a couple of smaller shows to get some practice. Polly (as I call her) is rising 6 and I have only had her a year. We are both a work in progress. I have never jumped her as I have lost my confidence in that department.
