Try looking at the fat content in a tiny little Dime bar or on most prepacked sandwiches - I have no idea how they pack so much fat in

It's amazing isn't it Zelda!!! I rarely buy a pre-packed sandwich. I can't justify 20g of fat on a usually MANKY sandwich! If I'm going to have the fat, I have to at least enjoy it!!!!!!!

My biggest shock was discovering wine can have egg in it!!! Being egg intolerant I now know why I have been poorly and couldn't work out why. I guess that means a litre bottle has more calories

Or the French Onion tart on sale in our work canteen which (on its own not including anything else) contains a whopping 1050 calories.....

This way I think ..........
Egg whites from chicken eggs are used for red wine clarification and are removed before the wine is bottled. The egg whites are not specially processed or separately distributed for the wine industry. They are regular, store-bought eggs or farm eggs. Two or three egg whites can clarify a 55-gallon barrel of wine.

Makes no d**n odds to me how they use it it still makes me ill. I went out last night and the bar man thought I had lost the plot asking if he could check if the wine had egg in it lol

Zelda, I can't decide if to say Wow or Uuugghh - how exactly does that work? How can egg whites be recovered from Wine - my mind is boggled......

I have no idea how they recover egg whites a sieve? there is also something called isinglass en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isinglass which is used in beer making and kosher wines
