She was beautiful and a lucky girl to find you. The pictures from two years ago are particularly lovely because, to me, she has a look of calm serenity about her and a sense of, "this is my person who makes my world safe". Such a different picture from the ones when she first arrived with you.

Yes, that's exactly what I thought!
I remember her being all over the place and very unhappy. I could barely get her to stay still for the photo.
Looking at that picture, it's really strange to realize there was a time when we were not close at all, since soon after we became such good friends.
You can see it on the other old pic, with me leaning on her. She was very at ease then, and we really enjoyed being together.

Yet another in tears too, but such a beautiful tribute to your girl. I loved the picture of you and your kids with her, but my favorites are the ones taken two years ago. I agree, the bond and love between you and Cassey clearly shines in those photos.
