Wisbech Youngstock show 25/11/13

We decided for Izzie's ( Nipna Jubilee ) last show of the year we would take her to a proper youngstock show with a very good judge and see how she would get on. Friday afternoon we bathed her and she got to try out the new Hot Horse Shower in our new washdown room. Well as always she didn't care. She was so easy. Only problem was keeping her warm afterwards while she was drying due to her having such a thick coat as we are just waiting for the heat lamps to go up this week.



So nice late start and off we went. Got there and once again she was wet through. Not sure why as when we bought her home she was only a little sweaty under her mane. Not to worry too much as most of the youngstock was the same. Took her in her class, the M&M Non Welsh yearling class. Was a very good girl but very strong. Stood up nicely for the judge, trotted well and went and stood back in line like a pro. Walked round and got pulled in first! 


So thats two shows and two wins. Took her in the Championship but nothing in that but didn't expect it as I had already picked the Champion and Reserve and was right.



Was so pleased with her as she is so easy apart from being very nosey.



A couple of photo's I had to buy but so about the photo's of the photo's but my scanner has decided it won't work.

I like her star. It's really unusual - a bit like a swallow in flight.

I just spotted this old post and noticed that the date on it was Nov 2013. I just wondered if anyone knew if there is a show this year - presumably in the next few weeks?
