clemmies colt foal is Nipna Lionheart, we look forward to seeing him when Clemmie gives up being foal proud, lol. It usually lasts about 10 days.

my first observation of this list is that three of us are regular breeders, there are no individual foals born to just one person as yet, we are early in the year still. My friend has a tb mare of ours which is in foal to a warm blood due end of may.

Yes Julie - certainly looks that way.

I wonder if there are any other Dalesfans expecting a foal this year?

We have 1 more Dales baby to come in mid May, and (whispers) a Fell foal at the end of May

This seems to be true and its a sad situation really. I would love to breed again one day, but I simply cannot afford it for a while. Having lost my job and although I have a new one it is a lot less money, so I am not entirely sure if I will ever be in a position to be able to afford it again. I would hate to see the Dales pony struggling for numbers or narrowing the breed to the point we potentially create another FIS type situation...hopefully that won't happen, things will pick up and we "one-off" breeders can have more foals in future.

I have a Dales foal due in September, here in upstate NY. It will be the first Dales born on our farm...we just had a buckskin QH filly born 4 days ago!
