Never tried Blue Chip. Must say I prefer dog biscuits to horse feed though.

Dog biscuits are probably the best animal feed; my cat always preferred them to her own food!

LOL I'm very fond of Tesco's Small Bone Selection!

I feed Cool Stance way under the recommended amount, and add in a handful of speedibeet, a little chaff and a very good multivitamin (Horse Tech grass) along with lots of E and added Selenium. So far no weight issues and the ponies are looking very well. We have a 16.2 hh visiting Hanoverian/TB cross with us for a while who is an active eventer and gets pretty much the same but his Cool Stance is upped quite a bit and he gets free choice second cut hay along with grazing which would make the ponies blimps!

What does the speedibeet do? Like a beet pulp?

What does the speedibeet do? Like a beet pulp? Yes, it's unmollassed beet pulp but processed in such a way so that it doesn't need soaking for so long.
