Doing my first dressage competition on Easter Sunday! Got to admit I'm nervous, I don't really know what to expect I wondered what the plait looked like too. Is it like one of those running plaits that people do on Andalusians? Good luck with your dressage - just enjoy it and remember you're doing it for fun. Because Harvey has a very long mane from poll to half way down and then nothing because he's rubbed it out, I have a problem knowing what to do with it. So I do a running plait for half the neck and then plait it into one long plait which hangs down nearly to his knees. It was this swinging long plait which transfixed the judge.

Oh, I think we've seen pics of Harvey's Chinese plait is it the one you use for him on your hacking adventures? It looks very smart
