I despair of this pony lol he hates his feed with its brewers yeast in but doesn't want anyone else to eat it, and he has become very jumpy the slightest thing makes him jump - I sniffed as I came round the corner of the field shelter he jumped, Sara clicked the her hat clasp together he jumped and to top it all yestermorning Trev was busy grazing a pheasent flapped it's wings and called Trev got such a fright he spun round and fell over

On the subject of jumpy; Musk is ridden most days so you would expect that he would be used to me dismounting, but not today.........

Not so bl**dy sensitive today, just bl**dy bolshy could we get him wormed no way nope not a chance Is bolshy anywhere in the breed description?!? Musk's MO is to object to everything until proven pleasant/harmless. Wormer comes under harmless once I get the nozzle in the corner of his mouth up to that point we go round and round As to the dismount he leapt sideways when I hit the ground with a "Where the hell did you come from!" look on his face, funny boy....

Musk! I hope Trevor has decided it's really okay for him to have his wormer. A friend of mine used to go through her boarding stables with peppermints and dewormers. She'd give a mint, then the wormer, then another mint. Of course Blossom despises peppermint and cinnamon, so that wouldn't work at all, but maybe it would help Trevor to understand the wormer isn't all that bad? I've heard another person using honey.

Oh Musk you silly billy No not tried the wormer again the weather has been so awful I'm not giving him any excuse, we tired the giving him a treat one of the herbal treats that they go mad over but that didn't work. The problem is this wormer is really really disgusting and has a smell the ponies really don't seem to like, even the ones who are usually ok to worm are a bit iffy about it, Trev has been really wary of his head ever since he got aural plaques I've decided to put one of the used syringes in a open box next to his feed busket every day so he gets used to the smell, not that he is loving his feed these days since I've been adding brewers yeast. This morning was the first time Iput out the syringe and he had a look at it and a smeel curled up his lip so was praised for looking and smelling at it I also think I migh cover his syring in herbal treat powder and leave it like untilwe try worm him again.

Oh they do like to try our patience don't they, Connie has decided she is fed up of not having much grass and is now jumping into the area I've got fenced off for schooling every night as it's got a decent grass coverage, which I want to keep so it doesn't get too bare and slippery to school on, that's the whole idea of fencing it off.
