Simple delicious starter starter/light lunch for 2
1 bunch of Asparagus 4 Duck Eggs (2 each - but I'm greedy) 8oz streaky bacon (smoked is my choice but unsmoked works well)
Snap off the end of the aparagus, at the point where they naturally break Wrap each spear of asparagus in a rasher of bacon Place on an oven tray and bake in the over for 20 mins @ 170C (make sure the bacon is crispy) Boil the duck eggs for approx 7 mins (for a soft yolk)
Serve the eggs in individual egg cups, and the bacon wrapped asparagus spears on the same plate. Dunk the aspargus spears in the runny duck egg - Enjoy
N.B. A few soldiers of Sourdough bread can make this into a nice lunch

That sounds delicious, must see if the farm up the road has any duck eggs ATM, if not will try it with hens eggs.
