Em saw Donna on Monday for a check up and treatment and she is doing extremely well, the best that could be expected for this stage of her treatment. So well in fact, that not only is she ready to move on to the next stage of the treatment in a weeks time (putting the good bacteria back), if she responds well she can move onto increasing the frequency of bacteria from every 3 days to every 2 days after 2 weeks instead of 4 weeks.
When she is settled on a regime of having bacteria every 2 days, (which will last for 8 weeks before increasing to every day), providing she doesn't have a set back she can start some ground work, then after 2 weeks she can start some very gentle ridden work.
Donna says the signs are very good and that she should make a good recovery, I may well always have to manage her carefully but she should be able to lead a normal useful life.
I'm so excited about it, she is already back to the lovely pony she was, if a little opinionated, but that's normal. By the time she's ridden again she will have had almost a year off, doesn't time fly!!! I can see myself riding her again now, though I will let Sam do the initial ridden work.

That's wonderful news. You must be delighted with her progress.
