That's what I thought Zelda, her wardrobe has now well exceeded double her purchase price, but has still only brought it to what I should have paid for her without tack, so I'm not complaining, ponies like her are priceless, she deserves the best I can afford for her.
I didn't get her clipped this morning as we have heavy drizzle, the kind that soaks everything, so definitely not clipping weather, I'll try again over the weekend, I have a clinic booked for Tuesday with one of the instructors from BHS camp, so I'd like to get her clipped before then.
She didn't sweat much last winter but I'd forgotten that she didn't actually do the same level of work she is now, we were getting used to each other and she was recovering from a respiratory infection so doing a lot of walking and slow short hacks, where as now we are doing 2 hr hacks in all paces 4 times a week and maybe 1 schooling session plus 1 shorter hack a week, plus a 10-12 mile PR on average every couple of weeks so I think she will be more comfortable with a full clip and appropriate rugs.
