Hi any one else have a 2 year dales that sweats when he is in his stable, he does not have a rug on.

Not got any youngsters but it is exceptionally warm for this time of year and most of our ponies are pretty wooly now so that could be the reason.

Yes is warm at the moment, I have a fell and Welsh with same amount of coat so as little concerned as quite wet on his neck. Then the wet goes cold and concerned he might get a chill.

Is he used to being stabled, if not he might be stressed about being in therefore sweating

Not a youngster, but Emerald who's 8 and has a thick woolly coat has been sweating in the field in this mild weather, he could be stressed at being stabled as Zelda suggested.

Mine are all prety warm at the mo too, all out 24/7
