Even with some as field ornaments I don't know how you manage. Last winter I had 5 and really struggled in all the mud and rain. This winter with just 3 is lovely. You must have a lot more stamina than me and you work full time!!!

Lu does a lot of the work and the rest is organisation... The fields have hay feeders in that we tie a haynet into each. So today I've filled enough nets to last until the weekend and taken them down with the tractor and left them alongside the fields they need to be in. Summer we use a poo picker weekly, winter I'll admit unless it's dry we don't pick the winter paddocks. They're out in pairs so we feed in the fields and the greedy ones if dominant get extra fibre nuggets to slow them down 😂. We had a school put in over the summer so finally have somewhere to ride other than hacking. Getting to grips with it all slowly!

Still a lot of work and hard slog! Especially in the winter when it gets dark so early and dark mornings. I envy you your school though...........
