Gill, she is 9 1/2 months old. I have to admit, i did have a heart attack earlier, when i saw OH bringing my two in together, baring in mind Mags is so young, but they where both very good. I hobbled over to meet them and took one of the ponies off him.

I'm surprised they didn't bolt into the sunset watching you hobble Most ponies don't like a 'funny walking' human.

Heather, that is good to know that you are doing the same with Tola and Merlin. I think that they enjoying doing or seeing new things once a week or fortnight. Mags loves going on adventures. I have yet to move on to the washing legs, but Sparky loves the pressurer washer on low, and warm. Next time i clean his legs, i will let Mags watch and get her use to the nosie etc. Glad you enjoy Mag's diary, i will keep them coming.
Debbie, i know i was lucky they didn't gallop off into the distance with the site of me hobbling along, LOL.

That is a traffic proof pony in the making! She looks to be a little angel. I wouldnt worry that you are doing too much with her, the more she experiences gently when she is young, the easier everything will be for her as she grows up! And she looks sooooooooooo huggable!

Its a lot like socializing a dog, though, isn't it? The more they see and can feel safe about, the bolder they are as riding ponies. I think they tend to be so adventurous and naturally curious at that age anyways. LOL...yes, I've hobbled around quite a few horses and ponies in my time on a sprained ankle. Most looked at me veeery suspiciously. But they completely lost the plot when it came to crutches. ;D Your lot must've been humoring you Are you staying off of it at other times??

What a wonderful laid back girlie. A bit of a nosey parker too! Encouragement from people who know what they are talking about on here too so you can stop worrying by the sound of it!
