My first trailer was a double version of this model. It was very good and solid and lovely to tow.

The only worry that I would have with a single trailer is weight distribution and corners etc, but that is just me Row. I would be happier with a double. However, the weight just on one side would be just as bad so maybe I'm talking rubbish? lol!
I think that it might be a good buy, although I wouldn't want to be spending much more than £300 on it.

How does the width of this one compare to the Ifor Wiliams Mare and Foal trailers, which are quite wide for a single trailer. I've seen them in the flesh (the ifor Williams one) and I think they are just the right width - I wouldn't want to go for anything narrower.

the width is about 6 inches less than the ifor, but im not sure it the measurements are internal or exteral so i have emailed to ask her..

Good point on the mare and foal trailer. I had one of those and found it just wide enough.
The price is good. I paid £500 for the double. A good floor and working brakes are key things to check.

I've got the Ifor Williams single and am chuffed to bits with it. D has more room than if she was sharing a double. I'm afraid I don't know anything about the single Rice ones. Sorry.

Personally i am with Money Penny, i am not a great lover with single trailers, and OH hates them and does talk about the weight etc, like you said about Helen (UUUMMM, maybe i should have listened to him more, LOL).
Would be a bit worried about what is going on with the ramp as well???
It says thick wooden floor, but doesn't say whether it is double flooring, which you do need in horse trailers. Also the most important thing is that the chassis is in good condition.
Sorry i don't mean to be down on it at all, but just things you need to ask about.

How unfair! Crystal has been in a old single before and was fine. If you find another and like the look of it go for it!
