What happened to this thread, it doesn't appear to have moved over from the old board. Is it possible to start a new one? Or have I missed it somewhere?

Unfortunately the bulk of the original thread was lost when Olivia did some desperately needed cleaning of the old board. I think some of the thread was reposted on the old board, but it wasn't brought over. Its a bit of a shame as it was so fun to follow along, and especially to read the hairy, scary... look she's gonna kill Collin posts and then to watch her morph into a fantastic riding pony. Ah well, perhaps someone else can take a whooly pony on and start posting on here?

LOL Debbie - I remember those posts about Colin going to help Penny and Michael get a headcollar on Joanne! It was lovely to see how she came on from there - another example of how the right handling and education can turn a pony around.
I hope someone does start a new thread from scratch - it was so interesting to see regular updates and I'm sure it was helpful to other people in similar situations.

I wonder if we could do a joint one Gill? This way we can compare 2 different ponies and their progress. But, I think Olivia is a little older than Rhythm, so maybe it won't work.

How old is Rhythm? Could always do Cherry (she is 2).

It'd be very interested to compare two different ponies, especially if they each had different temperaments and needed different approaches to bring them on.

Cherry's temperament is quite unique LOL!! Although Olivia is older, I've had her from a yearling and she is not the easiest of ponies

I'm glad I printed most of the old thread out before it disappeared.
I've never had a youngster and I'd find it really interesting especially if you could start with a bit of history from birth or when you got them.

Gill, Rhythm is only just 2. She was 2 on August 6th. We brought her home May 13th. She was another completely wild girl.

Yippee yes please. I 'lunged' Ed at the weekend, half a dozen big circuits each way and he just looked at me, sighed and gave me that d'ya fink i'm bovvered look as his floppy lip swung in the breeze.
