Gill you must be so thrilled, i think when you are faced with a difficult horse it makes every little step forward such a major achievement, as you know I had a simular problem with Archie when I had him not in him being a youngster and backing him, but in the fact that he had been badly treated, it took me a month to get him to accept a bit and bridle without going into a major fit! so I really do know how you must be feeling, I felt like I had conquered the world when I started riding him.
