Weekend was wild. Show was great. Don't know how I did it. Worked 1000PM - 800AM then went to the barn 830AM - 400PM then went home. Was dead tired. That is when it got interesting. Elvis (son's boston terrier) went THRU the kitchen window to get into the house. He basicly skinned himself about 6 inches long and cut the muscle tissue of his left side shoulder to the end of his ribs. (I have pics of after the he went to the vet) We were at the emergency vet for 6 hours. Then the kept him and sent us home. We picked him up at 630AM following morning. He is moving slow. Poor guy.
I didn't place that great in the show. Did 5th, 5th, 5th, 5th, then 4th. Not too bad for a first season showing as jumping!

Well that certainly was a traumatic, eventful day! Poor Elvis! I hope he is feeling OK today.
Well done at the show though. Those placing sound just fine to me and the main thing is that you had a fantastic time. But where are the pics...........

I have the pics. Been busy with Elvis. He had a pocket of fluid build up and his drain got clogged.

Geez woman, when do you SLEEP? ?? Hope poor Elvis makes a complete recovery. There's easier ways to get into a kitchen, poor guy. And those are very respectable placings for a first show with something totally new
