Oh NO!!!! Heather, I'm so sorry this has happened!!! I'll echo the others and say you mustn't blame yourself whatsoever. There's only so much fretting, worrying and whatifs you can play with ponies..... and no good comes from beating yourself up. You're an excellent pony mum, so this is just 'one of those things'. Very interesting what Sarah says about a toxin/regards to it being in all four hooves at once... Sending along massive, massive positive vibes and happy thoughts for both you and Rose LOL....keep enjoying the hula dances, luv!

So sorry to read this, Heather. Poor Rose. There seems to be a lot of cases this year, the ground here is rock hard and I have never known it like this before. One of my friend's ponies has just gone down with it too. Lots of healing vibes for your girl and you too. Lesleyx

Only just seen this and will now add my vibes too! Really hope things improve very soon and just remember - treat yourself like you treat others! You wouldn't beat anyone else up so why beat yourself up?

Try not to beat yourself up = as you said hindsight is not always a good thing!

im really sorry to read this heather, it really is s**t. my dan is on box rest at the moment with it, so i can really sympthse with you.
dont blame your self i did that too, but now he seems to be getting better and im getting my head round it i know it was just one of those things and my farroir and vet have both said there is an epidemic of it at the moment.
