;DSince using garlic powder in the feeds in winter I havent had any problem with worms for several years. I have worm counts done on alternative horses about twice a year just to make sure, but it does seem to have done the trick. I am lucky enough not to have any horses other than my own on the land though, which helps, but I generally don't poo pick.

It had the same effect on Jet when I used in in the summer. I thought he had sweet itch and kept feeding it to keep the midges away, gradually cottoned on to the fact that he only rubbed when he'd been fed it, but he doesnt seem to have a problem with it in winter. My aunt has it for her circulation and says it makes her warm, so I imagine that is why they rub if they are too hot.
