I have been wondering about one of these girths, as my friend who has a tack shop orders quite a few of these for people, and have been tempted to try one.

my saddle company saddle has 4 straps but i only use numbers 2 and 4. with this string girth I found curly was not 'wide' enough in the girth area to take it, result was girth curled back on itself! I use the aerborn humane girths on both Curly and Apache with no problems at all.

I have just bought one of those girths for Cody on the recommendation of the saddler. He said they are good for distributing the pull on the saddle as they split to the front and back straps.
The lady that came out to look at Cody recommended not getting point straps or balance straps as both pull the saddle down and pressure on different parts of the pony but I think in some instances the one from the back is a necessity.
Still can't find a good saddle for Cody am using treeless and saving!
