When I moved the saddle back so it sat where it should, the seat was more level. When we took the saddle off there was no sign of bridging, the marks were even all along.
When I re-positioned Mike in the saddle, he was sitting further forward and therefore better placed on the horses spine. I explained to him all about pressure and loins and kidneys and once you tell him WHY you have to do something, he does it. When he moved forward he looked a much nicer picture altogether, and much more centred on the horse, and he could tell it was better.
It occurs to me I'm doing the cinch left-handed - back to front - so the tightening strap is against his body!!! Doh!!!! Well I am blonde........
I'll take some more pics next time we have it on and see what you all think then.
