HUGE, HUGE thanks to Sue and Dave for arranging this. We had the most fantastic time at Forest Farm this weekend. I've got loads and loads of pics but have had a quick sort through them now. Jodie and Jazz just after we got there on Friday. They bonded immediately and acted like they've always lived together, incredible to watch them. Sue had a ride on Jazz And then Jessica did a schooling session with her Get together Friday night Nicks birthday slippers from Sue and Dave LOL Having a go in Sue and Dave's fun bug Martin with Bobby Sue Hobday gave a brill demonstration on how to massage your pony - no pics though The big birthday barbeque in the barn - it was Nicks birthday Saturday and Dave's 50th today Even the ponies joined in Today Pippa and Debbie gave lessons followed by a talk from Sue Denney. Cheryl with Rosebarr Katie Sue Hobday and Sovereign me and Dave Then this afternoon we had some serious competitions. I haven't got any pics of the dressage, but this is on the way over to the cones Martin and Bobby And all lined up at the end

Wow, it looks like you all had a fantastic time. And what a lovely way for the lads to spend their birthdays. I wanted to go before, but seeing your pics has made it worse LOL!!
Was the weather ok? I did actually think of you yesterday, when we had torrential rain all day.

The weather was pretty awful yesterday unfortunately, but we still got out there. It cleared up today so we did everything we couldn't do yesterday.

Kim, what fantastic pics!!! I've a few more to add but the camera is somewhere in the depths of the very very untidy horsebox! It all went too quickly but we had such a great time, especially today when you went out and did a lovely dressage test and a briliant cones course competition! With brave Nick by your side you were a great team! We'll definitely do it again next year. Can't beleive how Jazz and Jodie took to each other instantly! Not many ponies out there would do that in a strange place! Thanks Kim and Nick for all your help, couldn't have done it without you both.

What a lovely camp!!! I know absolutely nothing about driving whatsoever, but this looks like such fun! All the ponies look very happy in harness, and indeed, their people look pretty happy too. Happy Belated Birthdays to Nick and Dave!!!!! LOL...love Nick's new slippers ;D

Noooo, you don't say Van!
Looks tremedous fun and I hope Dave and Nick enjoyed their birthday in such friendly company.
I love all the driving pictures. I can imagine it is quite a trial packing up for a holiday like this - all that tack!
Whenever I take D to Gill's she just settles down as though she's been there all her life. I think these Dales ponies recognise their own kind.

Oh blimey, what a weekend I want to write loads but seeing as I am at work I'd better not LOl... Wonderful pics, I really wished I could have been there but it was not to be. All the ponies look wonderful, I love the pic of Sovereign, he is such a handsome pony and such a nice person as well. Soo glad you managed to avoid the worst of the weather, I was thinking of you when it was blowing a hoolie and raining hard, Well done Sue and Dave for getting the weekend together.

Wow what a fab time you all have had Kim!! I love Nick's slippers LOL!!
It's lovely to see the ponies getting on, perhaps being in a strange place for both of them made it easier.

I had a wonderful time too despite being ponyless and staying in a tent with a force 8 gale and horizontal rain!! Kim and Sue were determined that i came home having driven a pony! Jazz was such a good girl and I am really grateful to kim for letting me loose on on her!! Very brave of her i thought!!
have to say It is really scarey! I am getting the long reins on D to night to see what happens!!! Hubby has gone grey at he thought of carriages and harness. I think he hopes D will hate it!!! Bet she doesnt!!!
I have photos too, but cant get to photobucket from work, so I will add them tonite.#
Many thanks to sue and Dave for organizing it.

All that rain and gale force winds didn't stop us having fun! The only annoying bit was that Jodie decided to come into season with all the excitement and was such a pain we couldn't drive her. She was so hyper and wouldn't calm down, even longreining was a nightmare so we gave up to save any accidents! But we didn't mind too much as we had the competitions to organise which was brilliant. Everyone was so good and well behaved, even the ponies ! Think I have a few pics which I'll try and get on.
