No piccies of today I'm afraid
Sue & Co were going shopping (how silly of them!!) so I rang Claire and she said she could come over for a quick whip round the block
She kindly arrived with Anne in tow to help. Amy went into the cart like an old hand. I got on and off we went. Anne on one lunge line just incase, and Claire walking to do traffic calming.
Amy was as good as gold
So Anne and her lunge line got on too. Poor Amy, with two of us to carry! She was brill. We went out a fair way and the I found a large area to turn in.
She's not tried a left turn yet so I decided to turn her left. Driver mistake number one!! That made the turn downhill with some nice grassy front lawn and stone bollards to contend with if we got it wrong....eeekkk!
It was gravelly under foot and the cart was pushing a bit too hard with us both on! I was mildly panicing (the bollards getting closer) but Amy sat into the breaching, shoved her ample bum against the shaft and did the most amazing side stepping I've ever seen!!! I could almost see the thought bubble "Blurdy hell! Better get her out of this one!!!" If she hasn't done this before, she's most definately a natural!! Claire was laughing at us and I had a red face!! Mental note to always turn up hill and to get groom to dismount BEFORE trying anything new to be on hand to help!! Good job one of us pair knows what we are doing, hey?!
Anyway, we got back without any more alarms and excursions and I'm like the proverbial dog with three d*cks again ;D ;D ;D
I'm now on a mission to talk to Amy's old owners to see if she had been driven already!!
