Sorry for not being on the board much just lately. I've not been feeling too good. I've had almost constant indigestion and a funny wheezy tight chest - so of course I thought it was my turn for the heart problems, I've been to the Dr and it's quite likely I've got an ulcer(never thought I'd have tummy troubles ) I was tested for the H-pylori bug but don't have it so am on an acid reducing medicine for a month to see if that sorts it out, so far two weeks into it it has taken the edge off but everything is still niggling away in the background . So I'm a bit behind with Christmas this year, if I've forgotten anyones card Merry Christmas and there will be a late delivery of Christmas presents to some people

so sorry you're not feeling well Zelda, I hope the medicines work and you will be better soon Christmas is only a day a year, but it puts so much pressure on people, really it doesn't matter if things are late, don't add any more worries to your heap, if it is an ulcer, it isn't going to help

Oh poor you, Zelda. And I bet the anxiety over Tom and your son's departure to sunnier climes won't have helped.
I hope the medication helps....and don't pressurise yourself over Christmas, your health is the most important thing. Sending huge hugs....

Poor you, Zelda. No doubt all the recent anxiety taking its toll. Thank goodness the doctor has ruled out heart problems and I hope the medicine eases your symptoms soon. Take it easy this Christmas and try not to worry. Thinking of you and sending lots of hugs.

Zelda I'm very sorry to hear that your not too well. I'm sure most of it will be down to the stressful year you have had worrying about Tom and your family. I hope you get some time to relax over Christmas and the medication helps with those awful symptoms.

I'm glad it's not your heart anyway Zelda! If it's your tummy, that will heal eventually. Christmas isn't about presents, it's about celebrating the birth of Christ with the people you love. If you are with the ones you love then they won't expect you to do anything else but look after yourself. I'm very behind this year too but determined not to panic. Like you, I'll have a space at my table as well. We have just got to make the most of those that are with us and look after each other. Hope the medicine really kicks in soon and that you get some relief Zelda. Wishing you a stress free, peaceful, contented and happy Christmas.

So sorry you've not been well Zelda, but glad that heart problems are ruled out! It's easy to think the worst when you've been through recent stress such as you have .. I've had stomach problems and am on long term acid-reducing medication, it's really helped and I hardly get any trouble now. Fingers crossed it works for you.

Never mind the Christmas fuss, you just take good care of yourself. You being healthy and happy is the best Christmas pressie anyone could ask for I'm really pleased the doctor's ruled out heart troubles, though. Fingers crossed you can get relief soon with the meds. If it is an ulcer, Eldon swears by aloe vera gel. Not the juice, he says, the gel, to help soothe and heal the stomach lining.

you have had a really stressy time so try and not let it all get too much. Its is just another day and while it's nice to have everthing 'just so' don't worry
I think you should surprise Prince and take him out for a xmas hack!

Oh Zelda,I'msorry you're having a rough time. I take lansoprazole every day which is meant to protect my gut from the ibuprofen - before I took it I had a tight chest and 'hot' insidesand my heart sometimes raced. Since I've been taking it everything has settled down.
I hope your tum settles down and you have a nice restful Christmas xx.
