She used the litter tray when we first got her so she knows what its for. I have put some of Magics bedding in it today, (easybed) because I thought maybe the litter that was in it is a bit rough on her sore feet and that was the reason she wasn't using it! Her feet are sore because she lays in her bed licking them and biting them! Anyway, I am in a better mood today, because I have been out on Magic for a couple of hour which was great.

I take my hat off to you - you're being very patient with this little mog. I agree with Sue! You're being a real saint with this little girl. Good thing you've had some time with Magic to clear the cobwebs.

Yes, you are being amazingly tolerant with this poor little moggie. Is she licking her feet all the time due to allergy then? Ginge used to do the same due to flea allergy. The vet put him on Ovarid steroid tablets and that stiopped the itching. He loved the taste of these tablets and so we had no problems giving them to him.

After consultation with the vet this morning, poor little Jess was put to sleep at 9.50hrs. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear this, but you tried your very best for her - you were very unlucky! I have to say that I had my old rescue cat Gemma PTS because she became incontinent and also senile. She'd follow anyone passing our drive, crossed a main road on a dangerous bend and used to end up in the local pub carpark or outside the Co-op!!
The incontinence got to be a real problem and I really couldn't cope with it any more, so you have my total sympathy.
RIP Jess

So sorry that this had to be the outcome after all that you have done for little Jess. At least she will have know that you were caring for her right up until the end.

You went above and beyond trying to make her comfortable. Sometimes this really is the best decision for them. I'm so sorry, though. Its hard to lose them no matter if they've been in your life for a long time or a short one.
