Who does a good range of hi-wither numnahs, apart from Griffin? I'm after cotton ones not sheepskin. They must have the wither clearance!
All the hi-wither ones I've seen don't tend to come in very exciting colours (black, brown and white).

Gill,
I thought Mattes did them. If it's for the fhoenix they do them as Damien Stenton- our local agent got them to make a design that fits and they com ein lovely colours.
I've also got a german one- I'll check the make, to go with normal saddles. Equipeadic do a lovely high wither one, but mine is black- not sre if they do nice colours. I got this from the USA

Thanks Jacqui - have you got a link at all?
I also need tham to be straight cut like dressage, but again, most multi-coloured ones are for GPs! I have a WH saddle that is very straight cut.

The only ones I've seen which fit your description are the Griffin Everyday numnahs which come in a range of colours and come in GP or DR - www.griffinnuumed.com/Everyday-numnahs-and-pads.htm I used to use these with M because they were the only ones that I could be sure would fit him and the saddle - most were too short or not deep enough or both...

Thanks Alison, I didn't realise Griffin did these in dressage style - that's just what I want!

Gill, I can dig out some links tomorrow if the Griffin ones aren't suitable.

Gill, others to check out would be: Barnsby Grip Pad Bucas Power Saddle Pad Eskadron Impulse Pad
All supposed to be great for horses with a significant wither

I love the Barnsby Grip Pad - I won't use anything else on Merlin now (hence the move from Griffin!) They are a bit thicker than the Griffin because of the NeoPrene and the sticky stuff, but my saddle just does not move. It is beautifully shaped and pulls right up into the gullet of the saddle so plenty of wither clearance. Not a cheap option though and I don't think they come in many colours - I have a black one and a white one.

I have got a Barnsby Grip Pad Alison! I don't actually need the pad for a high wither - I just prefer hi-wither numnahs as they don't pull tight.
Also I am after a shaped numnah rather than a saddle square - but I will look into these Griffin pads. Can you order directly from Griffin or do they use agents?
