Is it "Mr" Pepys? Handsome lad, whoever! Hope Flora catches. Is he covering any more of yours while he's there? Must be lovely to have a stallion running with your mares at home, and I bet he's appreciating his visit too!

Good luck with this one. I am positive it will be a lovely foal. Both ponies are lovely.

Thanks Penny, this is the first foal Flora will have had by another stallion! She can't be described as pretty having a nose as long as a tapier but she has some gorgeous limbs, fortunately her daughters so far haven't inherited her head!

Aw, poor Flora being described like that!!!! LOL. Mind you, I once knew a woman who HONESTLY did have the muzzle of a tapir - whenever she spoke it was all just TOO mobile to be truly human!!!! I could hardly keep a straight face when I was talking to her...... I just couldn't TELL her that she looked like a tapir, could I???

LOL Sarah, I think its ok to laugh at horses with funny noses but perhaps not people LOL although people who look like animals or vegetables are amusing. I hope the foaly doesnt look like this: athough it is quite cute!

ROFL...... uh-oh, that picture's set me off again!!!
Now if Flora has a foaly like THAT, then it's going to be so unusual, that you might be inundated with people wanting foaly, and placing advance orders for more like it!!! The stripey/spotty coat looks just fab....... ah, but there again, I guess it doesn't conform to the breed standard for limited white markings!! LOL.

Maybe it is love (like all brides looking gorgeous on their wedding day!!) but Flora does not look a bit like a tapir to me!! That spotty baby is very appealing though.....

Fingers crossed for you then, that firstly she gets in foal, then it's nice and healthy with a shorter nose than her Mum1

Sammy is a lovely stallion from what I have seen at the show and his temperament is fantastic as well. Post photos when you the baby arrives. I am interested to see his offspring
