The vet said it was about the best time for a scan. Sammy's first visit was 19th July. I wish I'd taken my camera in cos I could have got a shot of the screen, but I didn't think.
Paul (my vet) is brill. He's just moved into our village to live and said he'll give me his number nearer the time so he'll be on call for us when she's near to foaling (rather than the practice on call vet) as minutes matter and he can be round in two! He foals a friend's Shetties and used to do the Woof Wear ladies stud in Devon (??) so is probably a good bloke to have on board.
I'm so happy it's obscene. As a first time mum I can't explain it. All you old hats will probably laugh at me but you were there once!
Bad news is I'll need lots of advice!!

At one and a half months gone Amy is expanding at an alarming rate!! Maybe she knows it's going to be a hard winter (yeah, right!!) and is well into providing her winter woolies! She has that "well I am eating for TWO!!" look about her! She probably ate your post Debbie!!
