LOL I do miss Aster's antics!! Although Foxglove is quite similar in that way- there are large teeth marks in Bella's bridle now! (thanks foxy) LOL
I'm sure Maria will be fine, Aster will probably change her mind about her in a strange place! They might be friends by the end of the day LOL

Been shopping on Sat, managed to fit in a jacket in the shop this time (I didn't back in Jan!!). My poor (in many ways!! hee hee) husband had to suffer 2 hours shopping and cough up for a complete outfit for me! Life is soo cruel.
Ponies are fat, hot, itchy and grumpy, not a good show recipie. Poor Claire is currently being my mummy, she did me the shopping list on Friday, I had no idea there was so much stuff to get.....I don't think I've every bought a hairnet in my life! LOL!
I will be very relieved if I survive til next monday.
Glad so many folks are going, if any one wants to adopt me I'd be very grateful!

If its any help, Oliver too is hot, itchy and fed up with the heat. He has rubbed some bare patches on his face again. I dare not have him inside as he rubs himself on anything he can find. Just a very itchy pony.

Well Saturn is STILL hanging onto some fluff despite the heat we've had, and sweats buckets during work! And he has caught himself in three places on his face and stripped off the hair - have no idea from what  wouldnt mind betting it is the hawthorn hedge that he keeps sticking his head into!! |

Debbie! That pony Aster is entertaining. Got to admit sometimes we give her things to see what inventive things she can think of doing with them.
Best one is when we forget to shut the door on the feedstore, and she empties the things off the shelves just inside the door, one by one! She is so funny sometimes! Should write a book about her, kids would love it!

Penny,
Blu's party trick is to empty his waterbucket out, bearing in mind that it is sat inside a large lorry tyre, he manages to lift it clean out, using front feet, babies hey!!

Well Asty can better that one. She empties the bucket, then lifts it up and throws it out, followed by the tyre and the brick which is in the bucket to hold down the bucket in the tyre!!
Now she has a feed trough in a corner - fastened to the wall with bolts - which we use as a water container. She doesnt do anything with that one, other than rubbing her bum on it! It's quite good really, it has a plug in the bottom of it to drain it out.
The other day, she was in her paddock - one without piped water, so she has a tyre with a bucket in there at the moment. She slurped the water out of it, then held it in her mouth and dripped it all over us! We turned away to pick up something else before going back for the bucket. When we turned round, she had picked up the bucket, and was holding it in the air for us to take off her. We went and filled it, took it back, she drank and walked away! Such a cleve pony and so thoughtful!

LOL Penny Aster is so funny!!
Only 5 days to go and still loads to do!! Really looking forward to it, even if Foxglove does look a state lol.
