Well, I can vouch for Tilly doing the jumping at a gallop!!! She has always been ok with me in my "menage" and we had a couple of practices of what she would do in the show, with no problems. Dressage ......hmm, not sure on that one. But, Olivia, you are going to have a great day. If Tilly is a madam, so what? You will have plenty of support from the Dalesfans whatever happens.
Shall I wait until nearer the day to break the news to Tilly Trouble?

I'm gutted that I won't be there!  Can someone post me some of Zelda's truffles & Linda's flap-jack & Sue's sloe gin & who does that lovely chocolate gooey stuff & some of that the pink fizzy wine................  ;D |

I'm beginning to wish I didn't have to drive - that way I could have plenty of dutch courage, never mind I will have to rely on rescue remedy.
Mair kindly took Trouble to a local arena for me to have a practice. I think we'll be OK in dressage, showing and handy pony. But the jumping should be, urm, interesting. Ahh welll at least I'm giving it all a go!

Don't THINK you will be ok Olivia, you WILL be ok. Tilly went very well for you today, and you rode her beautifully. I cannot see you having a problem with the dressage or the ridden showing classes.
Tilly trouble had a good roll when she got home, and you should see the colour of her now. There again, she worked hard, and deserved a good roll I suppose.
