Leann took Connie to a local riding club show today. Here are some pics............. Connie proving that she could be an honorary Dales - she made a beeline for the grass the minute she stepped out of the trailer! A well-bred girl shouldn't talk with her mouth full! It took an absolute age for the classes to come round! We waited......(the rider is Becky, who works at the yard) ......and we waited..... ....and we waited.....and Connie had a snooze..... .....and then they were in the ring for Riding Club Pony I'll leave it to Leann to tell you her placing - it was good in quite a big class. Then the Condition in Hand class - and no prizes for guessing the place. LOL CONGRATULATIONS LEANN AND CONNIE!!!!!!

She was such a star all day ...and it was a very long day and she didn't put tiny hoof wrong at anytime!! She came 4th in the riding club type pony class and 6th in the in hand which I took her in so a really pleased with those results as she doesn't go out that much. Thanks to Sue who suppled the lunch and was groom for the day and still found time to take these great pictures!! great to see Joe and Dancer do so very well too. I also got lucky and bought an immaculate high neck rug from Sarah Mc as she came along to support me too. Thanks a million Sarah. I am shattered now and off for a bath.

Great photos, Sue, and Leann you look so proud of the lovely Connie (quite rightly). Connie was an absolute star despite having to wait around in the cold. She was VERY patient. Well done to Becky too, she did a great job in the Open Riding Club Pony.
