Fantastic Karen. You are so much quicker than me getting these things on the board. Well done Joe and Jon. That little pony really is super and Joe of course is very cute. Gill, the show was irwell vale at Croft Top. We took Aster for some experience, she hasn't many miles on the clock (Joe and Jon were there to do the same), and we wanted to see how much stamina and patience she has built up over the year we have had her. Well, she was fabulously behaved. I think when Colin saw her first thing in the am she was a little wound up and it all looked as if she was going to be quite a handful for nic - all noises and vehicles on the car park were very exciting to her, but she went on to have a wonderful, calm day and she tried really hard at everything we asked of her. She was 5th in riding club pony (she has never jumped anything other than a few poles in our school), 2nd Inhand, 5th in Equitation and made a brilliant attempt in the ridden. Early days for her and we were very pleased. Nic's hard work and riding her nearly every day paid off, she never even felt warm and certainly showed some of those Welsh D's how to extend eh Karen? LOL Joe - you have a wonderful little pony in Jon and if Nic had been riding when she was as young as you I know she would have loved a pony like yours. There will be many many more blue rosettes (and red ones although you did tell me red was a girlie colour too) on their way for you, you can be certain of that.

Aster enjoyed her gallop Karen - she likes the opportunity to show off. Joe - it was fun riding with you even if it was short - we will do it again next time.

It certainly stomped Karen - it really moved actually but I can't help wonder how judges cope with these ponies they can't decipher. How tempted are they to ask "how is he/she bred?" in the hope something will twig!

What lovely photos! Love that one of Karen and Joe with big smiles on their faces - way better than many professional photos. Just super. And well done to everyone with their rosettes. Like the little and large photo too! I think Joe and Jon have a HUGE amount of presence to make up for their lack of height!
