Shod yearlings at the Spring Show

tradition I have always been told.

I would rather be last every time in the show ring than do this to an animal of mine.

We only shoe ours if the farrier says it needs it AFTER 3/4 yrs. He is the judge of this and he is a good farrier and I trust his judgement.

I think it should be put out the ring immediately if shod before it is of riding age. The judges should now reward those that make such practices. They should encourage natural being!
